Dominique Elya is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in women’s health, infertility, and pregnancy loss. She is the founder and owner of Athena Counseling Services, LLC, in Macomb, Michigan, where she provides individual and couples therapy and trauma-informed, compassionate care for those navigating the emotional, relational, and psychological challenges of their fertility journey. Dominique also serves as the Lead Therapist for Brilora Fertility Foundation’s Support Socials and support programming, helping create welcoming spaces for individuals and couples to connect, feel supported, and access mental health resources throughout their fertility and family-building journeys. Her passion for reproductive mental health was shaped by personal experiences that revealed how isolating and overwhelming this path can feel and highlighted the need for empathetic, specialized support. Combined with her professional training, these experiences allow Dominique to deeply connect with clients and meet them where they are.
